Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and experienced Editor to lead ATV.com. The ideal candidate will possess a profound enthusiasm for the powersports lifestyle, coupled with the motivation to drive growth and success within our platform. This role demands a blend of talents in writing, editing, content creation across digital mediums (including social media and YouTube), and a deep understanding of the powersports community.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assume leadership of ATV.com, setting the editorial direction and ensuring the brand's continued growth and relevance in the powersports space.

- Establish and maintain relationships with brand representatives, attend model launches, and coordinate with brands for at-home ATV testing.

- Generate engaging content for ATV.com, including gear tests, industry news, affiliate article updates, and original content for social media platforms.

- Create and manage regular video content for the ATV.com YouTube channel, leveraging a mix of expert knowledge and creative storytelling.

- Oversee the newsletter strategy, including creation, optimization, and distribution, to engage and expand our reader base.

- Utilize AI tools effectively for content creation and updates, ensuring the content remains fresh and relevant.

- Write detailed spec comparison articles, monitor classifieds for industry trends, and manage freelance contributors for diverse story assignments.

- Extend content management responsibilities to include a defined content strategy for Snowmobile.com and PersonalWatercraft.com.

- Spearhead initiatives to grow the newsletter list, including organizing giveaways and other reader engagement tactics.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in writing, editing, and content creation, particularly within the powersports or related industries.

- Strong proficiency in social media and digital content strategies, with a proven track record of engaging audiences on platforms such as YouTube.

- A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and lead content initiatives from concept to completion.

- Deep passion for and knowledge of the powersports lifestyle, with a keen interest in ATVs, snowmobiles, and personal watercraft.

- Excellent organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

- Experience with AI content tools, SEO strategies, and digital marketing tactics is highly desirable.
