    • Industries: healthcare, financial services, retail, manufacturing, professional services, etc.
    • Target clients: enterprises (end customers) and software companies.
    • Topics: software solutions (CRM, financial management, HR management, production management, ecommerce, analytics software, etc.) and services (software development, QA and testing, IT support, etc.).

    Our ideal candidate

    The ideal candidate has a background in:

    • Editing content in English
    • Journalism
    • Copywriting in English
    • Translation and localization
    • Business Analysis

    IT experience is not required. We allocate part of the working time for gaining the needed knowledge and support learning with training materials and personal guidance.

    Responsibilities

    Editing IT-related texts written for the American audience at the first level of our process (the texts are further checked by our Chief Editor). Editing should improve texts in the following aspects:

    • Logic
    • Compliance with publishing guidelines
    • Fitness for marketing goals
    • Language (grammar and vocabulary)
    • Professional tone of voice

    Requirements

    • Ability to assess the marketing value, scope, style, logic, accuracy of information in texts.
    • Advanced English with a good command of grammar and rich vocabulary.
    • Ability to trace and get rid of linguistic, logical, style, and other errors.
    • Ability to defend your editing choices and give constructive feedback to copywriters to continuously improve their skills.
    • Ability to recognize and follow publishing guidelines.
