Splicing Project Manager activities include the installation, maintenance and upgrade of communication and utility infrastructure, including but not limited to: communications, electrical and natural gas infrastructure.
Supervises Permit Coordinator, Construction Managers and Construction Coordinators and document control.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- Distribute jobs to Construction Manager
- Determine the resources required per job in order to meet customer deadlines.
- Update customer on percent of completions, roadblocks, and due dates
- Prepare status reports to present to internal and external higher managing authorities.
- Manage internal and external scheduling.
- Coordinate and communicate with Client Program Management Office.
- Prepare yearly budgets based on Customer's forecast.
- Forecast monthly revenue and margins.
- Responsible for P&L
- Account for Fixed Assets
- Track revenue daily, weekly, and monthly
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years PM experience in Telecom/Utilities Industry with focus on Fiber & Coax OSP Construction
- Leadership
- Read and interpret fiber design and cut sheets.
- Ability to motivate, resolve conflicts, and make hard decisions.

- Technical understanding of field work activities Underground, aerial, splicing and testing
- Ability to travel for extended periods
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening that includes background and drug testing
- Individuals must have a valid driver's license and driving record meeting the company policy
- Must be in good physical condition with the ability to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 50 lbs., equipment, tools, and boxes
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time on varied surfaces
- May be required to work long and unpredictable hours
