Communications Editor Supervisor jobs in Greenville, MS

We are hiring teammates during our job fair from the Hattiesburg Holiday Inn Express conference center, beginning next weekend (April 28th - 30th).

CGS is seeking to hire temporary Video Editor Technicians to join our team in support to XCTC Army National Guard training. We are looking for local talent of people who enjoy making creative videos with Final Cut or Adobe Pro Software. Our Video Editor Technicians edit recorded video from Instrumented After Action Reviews (I-AARs) and compile a single take-home quality video for each I-AAR.

Essential Functions:

• Support the AARP Team Lead and I&C Chief in the development of digital audio/visual products
• Support the Operations Manager in the digital portion of the take home package
• Use complex editing software such as Final Cut and Adobe Premier to piece together still images, footage, sound effects, dialog, and animation effects
• Combine video and digital photos from Guardsmen conducting training
• Use software such as Adobe Premier Pro and Final Cut to assemble the raw products along with sound bites from radio transmission recordings into short movies

Requirements:

• Pass a background check
• Have a valid Driver's License and be able to commute daily
• Ability to safely lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work in an outdoor environment using military tents and portable restrooms

Education: N/A

Experience: Experience editing and producing videos.

• Final Cut Pro: 1 year (Preferred)
• Adobe Photoshop: 1 year (Preferred)

Working Conditions: natural conditions indoors

Job Type: Seasonal/Temporary

Work Hours: 8-12 hour shifts, 6-7 days / week, for a total of up to 6 weeks.
