Summary
The Senior Editor of The Daily Economy will be primarily responsible for publishing the content of the journal daily and contributing to other AIER publications as needed. This person should have a background as an editor and writer. Experience editing and publishing online content is especially desired for this position. This position will involve generating ideas for publication, ensuring that the Daily Economy content tiers up to our institutional priorities, editing, working with writers, leading a small editorial team, and the presentation of online work. We also desire for the candidate to have familiarity and alignment with free market economic thought and classical liberal ideas (and to be able to regularly produce content from this school of thinking). Finally, this person will regularly interact with AIER’s scholarly team and report to the Director of Publications in the performance of the Senior Editor’s duties.
