Responsible leading 6 to 12 crews of 2 or more for building, maintaining and troubleshooting Cox Communication, Cox, Charter and AT&T systems per instruction and work orders.
- Receive work from Customer, review documents, pre-construction meeting with City Inspectors if required, pre-construction meeting with customer if required, order additional parts and material from customer, schedule job, distribute job to your team, monitor progress of job, close joe and permit.
- Correctly interpret and act on plans, blueprints and work documents.
- Handle field paperwork electronically in a concise, prompt and neat manner.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in using computer systems and software applications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
Skills:
- Supervising: Ability to oversee and manage a team of telecommunicators, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to protocols.
- OSHA: Familiarity with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations and guidelines.
- Budgeting: Ability to develop and manage budgets for construction projects.
- Quality control: Understanding of quality control processes to ensure compliance with project specifications.
