Communications Editor Supervisor supervises a staff of editors who write, prepare, and review content to be used in company publications. The Communications Editor Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions.     Relocation assistance package:  in state Arizona relocation, we can offer you a $1500 assistance package or for Out of state a package of $3000. (Would be paid in the first payroll with a 6-month payback clause.

    • Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
    • Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.
    • Must be able to pass MVR for the last 7 years and have a valid driver license

     

    The Fiber Supervisor accomplishes project objectives by planning, coordinating, and evaluating project activities under the direction of the Construction/Project Manager. Typically, the Fiber Supervisor manages multiple initiatives and staff to complete business objectives. (This purpose is meant to be a guide. Duties may vary dependent upon client.)

     

    Essential Position Functions:

     

    • Manage two or more specific project initiatives and/or objectives simultaneously.
    • Serve as the “point” person and liaison between stakeholders: Construction/Project Manager, Client, Team, and Sub-Contractors.
    • Assist the Construction/Project Manager in the drafting and issuance of project proposals, RFP’s, tenders, budgets, cash flows and preliminary schedules.
    • Complete any necessary paperwork, reporting, etc. required for project initiatives and/or objectives.
    • Prepare and complete action plans to implement production and productivity on assigned project initiatives.
    • Work with external contractors in addition to internal resources as required.
    • Track and report initiative and/or objective progress on a weekly basis.
    • Communicate/discuss initiative and/or objective status, quality, and client projected timelines to completion as required.
    • Manage scope creep through client change orders and internal change orders.
    • Understand billing and accounting procedures.
    • Ensure timely completion of assigned deliverables.
    • Supervise staff in the field/job site as needed
    • Required to drive to and from TrueNet jobsites, customer/client locations, and meetings as required.
    • Other duties as assigned.

     

    Education and/or Experience:

     

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • 7 years’ experience working with fiber splicing.
    • 7 years’ experience MSO/CATV experience required.
    • 1 years of field supervisory experience preferred/ Equivalent, applicable experience in lower level role may be substituted.
    • Intermediate level proficiency with a Windows operating system required.
    • Intermediate level or higher with Microsoft office applications (emphasis on Excel).
    • Proficiency with Adobe products preferred.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
    • Ability to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Able to effectively handle multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong interpersonal, organizational, oral and written communications skills.
    • Must be able to work alone, and with a team.
    • Must be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and Motor Vehicle Report.
