Seeking new methods and creative strategies to increase internal and external awareness of key events and changes in the organization including special events, community service, and other topics of interest.
Developing and implementing a communications strategy for the corporation that builds and maintains a positive corporate brand.
Oversees the corporate external and internal websites including message, ease of navigation, and clarity of information; ensures content is current and relevant.
Providing consistent and timely information to employees through various communications programs.
Collaborating with the creative department to develop and execute compelling internal and external storytelling initiatives through various visual media, video, and audio productions, contributing to the process from conceptualization to scripting, and final delivery.
Manages and cultivates relationships with local and national organizations that support our vision through partnerships.
Representing the organization in a variety of settings, always promoting it in the best possible way.
Acting as corporate spokesperson and responds to members of the media in a timely manner; composes and distributes press releases as needed.
Developing and maintaining positive professional relationships with various members of the media.

A Qualified Candidate Will Have:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, or related field.
Two years of experience in marketing, publications, or a related field required.
Superior ability to write in a style that is customary for corporate and external publications.
Experience with social media for corporate communications.
Ability to work with corporate management, employees, media, and the larger community.
