    • Oversee Tech and Field Operations within the Management Area
    • Manage, motivate, train, and mentor a team of individuals in support of company and department goals, provides employee evaluation and guidance to direct reports.
    • Create Metric Driven Reports that are meaningful to the business and provide a clear understanding to management of the business.
    • Develops and refines the management strategy for the local market. Ensures consistent and effective practices and procedures.
    • Compile explanations and action plans for monthly metric review.
    • Reviews operational performance reports and activities; initiates actions for constant improvement
    • Provide oversight of in-house and contract labor management, including adherence to scope of work and quality standards
    • Proactively plan for, secure, and deploy contractor resources to meet business demands
    • Provides technical support and direction to staff and contractors regarding new or existing technologies, operational standards, and staff development
    • Build and maintain positive relationships by representing BTR with clients, business partners, utilities, developers, permitting agencies and government officials.
    • Establish positive employee relations through effective communication and ongoing support.
    • Authorize company expenditures related to construction activities.
    • Assist in preparing annual budget.
    • Responsible for acting as a subject matter expert to field operations as requested.
    • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
    • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
    • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

    Requirements

    • 10 Years Cable Construction (coax and fiber) with steady work history preferred
    • 10 Years Supervisory with steady work history preferred
    • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel, Smartsheet
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to manage large capital and operational budgets.
    • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
    • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
    • Demonstrated leadership qualities
    • Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
    • Ability to manage emergencies and rapidly changing priorities, and to effectively direct the work activities of others under all work conditions
    • Ability to supervise and motivate others
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality
    • Ability to work independently
    • Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
    • Knowledge of the physical construction and design of aerial and underground of cable plant including coax & fiber
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
