    Position

    We are searching for a Communications Manager for the Scholar Communications team who will help maintain, shape, and grow the QuestBridge brand for our college students and alumni. They will help generate innovative ideas and manage the creation of content across many different channels to support the goals of the program teams. 

    Responsibilities

    • Develop communications plans with Scholar Programs teams for email, social media, web, print, video, and other channels with an understanding of how each plan fits into other projects and initiatives.
    • Gain a deep understanding of target groups and develop strategies for effective communication for these groups.
    • Review messaging and creative assets for brand alignment and provide feedback to stakeholders as needed, keeping in mind accessibility, equity, and inclusion.
    • Maintain brand integrity and champion the value of consistent messaging by implementing brand guidelines.
    • Leverage project management tools to monitor progress of communications and ensure timely completion of tasks across multiple teams. 
    • Assist other communications team members with documenting project tasks and setting deadlines.
    • Use results from tracking and analytics to measure the impact of channel efforts and make data-driven decisions.
    • Travel domestically 2-3 times per year for internal and external organizational events.
    • Support other organizational projects, tasks, and goals as needed and as assigned.
    • With all other QuestBridge staff, annually read and evaluate student applications for National College Match, College Prep Scholars Program, and other opportunities.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree with ideally 5 years of relevant professional experience.
    • Excellent writing and editing skills with demonstrated experience in providing constructive feedback on design and content.
    • Experience with website content management systems, email marketing software, social media platforms, and design programs (Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite).
    • Ability to outline and manage the tasks, timelines, and resources required for various communications projects.
    • Experience with using data to evaluate the success of communications and identifying areas for improvement.
    • Heightened sensitivity to students from diverse backgrounds.

    Salary

    $62,400 - $78,000

    Hours and Location

    This is a full-time position that is remote and can be based anywhere within the United States. Employees will be expected to be engaged online and travel approximately once per quarter.
