• Must be able to distinguish colors of fiber optic cable.
• This position will involve use of construction equipment, tools and materials.
• Strong consideration will be given to those who are hard working and willing to learn.
• This position involves maintaining the property and cleaning workspace.
• Preference will be given for previous field leadership experience.
• Must be team and solution oriented, with a proactive, professional, positive attitude, and be safety oriented.
• Eager and willing to learn new skills. (Experience helpful, but not required we are happy to train the right individuals).

What a typical day will be as an employee:

• Employees meet at the shop location and use company vehicles to travel to job sites in NYC.
• General duties will include but are not limited to the following: Running fiber optic cable through underground systems, Splicing cable, and cable repair.
• General construction duties will include but are not limited to the following: Installation of conduits, Digging, Asphalting and Minor road repairs.
• Installation duties will include but are not limited to the following: Installing and fastening cabling throughout buildings, installing panels and providing customer service.
• These tasks will be performed with experienced and knowledgeable technicians and provides an excellent opportunity for hands on experience and growth.
• Maintaining and cultivating the shop buildings and land.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
