SUMMARY: The Clinical Development and Onboarding Specialist is responsible for enhancing employee efficiency through targeted training initiatives and seamless onboarding processes. This role involves assessing organizational developmental needs, designing effective training programs, and facilitating the integration of new staff. Additionally, the Specialist ensures the smooth introduction and acclimation of the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system across all departments. This position collaborates closely with clinical, operational, and IT leadership to optimize clinical workflows and support organizational success.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: All duties are subject to accommodation in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
Collaborate with clinical leaders to manage workflow improvement projects involving the EMR system.
Lead in-person training sessions for providers and clinical support staff, optimizing EMR utilization.
Travel to various clinical locations to provide both scheduled and ad hoc in-person training and support.
Develop and implement customized training programs and learning sessions for staff members.
Provide coaching and support to individuals, both in group settings and one-on-one.
Demonstrate expertise in EMR fundamentals and provide ongoing support to EMR SuperUsers.
Identify system issues impacting clinical operations and recommend solutions to senior leadership.
Work closely with HR to develop customized training schedules for new employees.
Responsible for creating and enhancing providers’ scheduling templates under the guidance of the CMO.
Utilize EMR data to extract information for clinical operational decision-making.

Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience with EPIC EHR system in a healthcare setting
Proficiency in EHR software and strong understanding of healthcare operations
Demonstrated solution-focused orientation and familiarity with change management principles
Experience working in or with a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of professionalism
Proficiency in MS Office skill and ability to create training materials independently
Ability to work professionally with all levels of leadership, both within SWCHC, and outside organizations
Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and timelines effectively
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, IT, Health Informatics, or a similar field and/or a combination of education and relevant work experience/licensure
