Community Development Compliance Specialist jobs in Brockton, MA

Community Development Compliance Specialist ensures the organization's adherence with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) banking laws. Reviews and analyzes lending activity data as well as other activities and policies of the organization to ensure compliance with CRA policies. Being a Community Development Compliance Specialist coordinates the preparation of required government, regulatory, and other compliance documents for all community development activities. Advises management and coordinates with legal staff on potential impact of actions. Additionally, Community Development Compliance Specialist develops and recommends guidelines and standards to assist with compliance. Has current and extensive knowledge of all CRA regulations and policies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Community Development Compliance Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Communications Specialist supports the Office of College Communications' mission to tell the stories of Massasoit Community College. The Communications Specialist develops and executes communications strategies, including for the College's digital and social media presence, media relations, and internal communications. The Communications Specialist also helps develop and execute a comprehensive communications plan for the College and its departments and programs that incorporates social media, communications, branding, and events.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Working with other departments and constituencies as appropriate, assist in the development of social media content from concept to execution, including management and monitoring of the College channels, to inform interested parties and promote the College.
    • Assist in the development of communications content, including writing copy for the College's website and portal.
    • Writes and edits copy for press releases for internal and external distribution.
    • Develops production workflows and assures adherence to any internal or external communications standards.
    • In collaboration with other members of the department, assist in the development, implementation, and management of style and standards guides, templates, and other resource materials for College-wide use in presentations, print, and media publications.
    • Assists in the planning and promotion of special programs and events.
    • Performs related duties as assigned.

    Job Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree required in communications, marketing, public relations, or related field.
    • A minimum of two years of related experience.
    • Experience in communications, digital marketing, and/or public relations.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Strong customer service skills.
    • Ability to write concisely and develop ideas in a logical sequence.
    • Ability to manage sensitive information with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
    • Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite with proficiency in Microsoft word, powerpoint, and excel.
    • Experience in and knowledge of social media marketing.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Exceptional organizational skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priority assignments.
    • Experience utilizing Adobe Creative Suite along with online tools like Canva.
    • Experience working in Higher Education.

    Additional Information:


    Position Status:
    Non-unit Professional, full-time state funded with benefits.

    Hours: 37.5 per week, this position may be eligible for telework in accordance in with the College's telework policy.

    Salary: $57,795 - $68,000 annually, commensurate with education and experience.

    Worksite: Assignments will include all Massasoit sites
