Community Development Compliance Specialist ensures the organization's adherence with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) banking laws. Reviews and analyzes lending activity data as well as other activities and policies of the organization to ensure compliance with CRA policies. Being a Community Development Compliance Specialist coordinates the preparation of required government, regulatory, and other compliance documents for all community development activities. Advises management and coordinates with legal staff on potential impact of actions. Additionally, Community Development Compliance Specialist develops and recommends guidelines and standards to assist with compliance. Has current and extensive knowledge of all CRA regulations and policies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Community Development Compliance Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Who We Are Looking For:

    The Director of Development supports Hubbard Hill’s mission by creating, driving and supporting the strategy and execution of all fundraising efforts. They are the primary person responsible for day-to-day management of fundraising activities and for hands-on implementation of fundraising plans and initiatives. This position develops and maintains relationships with donors, seeks new donors and sponsors and assists in the creation of grant proposals. The ideal candidate is an effective project manager with experience in fundraising, event planning, managing grants, developing, and maintaining donor relationships and team leadership.

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

    • Manage the overall development program to meet annual operating budget.
    • Assume full responsibility for various fundraising efforts including product sales, obtaining items for auction, and acquiring donations.
    • Assist in developing and implementing effective fundraising event opportunities.
    • Assist executive leadership in development of strategic fundraising goals and work to achieve and surpass said goals.
    • Track fundraising income through software; reconcile data on a monthly basis
    • Assess gaps in giving from corporations, foundations, and grants and develop strategies to improve in those areas.
    • Recognize contributions with acknowledgment correspondences and special recognition events and programs.
    • Compile reports as needed for executive leadership and board committees.
    • Identify, cultivate, and sustain relationships with major donor prospects.
    • Research and identify prospective new donors and proactively initiate sponsorship and funding.
    • Assist in grant writing as needed.
    • Establish a realistic budget for events and account for anticipated fundraising outcomes.
    • Coordinate all aspects of fundraising events and activities from planning to execution.
    • Work with staff and development contractors to promote fundraising events and to enhance and sustain Hubbard Hill messaging.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Requirements

    • Time Management - Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time and complete projects in a fast-paced, changing environment with minimal supervision.

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • Education: Bachelors degree in communications, marketing, business preferred.
    • Experience: Working in marketing or development
    • Computer Skills: Proficiency Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word. Proficiency in Internet Explorer, Outlook/Exchange; Windows operating systems; and other software as needed
