Community Development Compliance Specialist ensures the organization's adherence with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) banking laws. Reviews and analyzes lending activity data as well as other activities and policies of the organization to ensure compliance with CRA policies. Being a Community Development Compliance Specialist coordinates the preparation of required government, regulatory, and other compliance documents for all community development activities. Advises management and coordinates with legal staff on potential impact of actions. Additionally, Community Development Compliance Specialist develops and recommends guidelines and standards to assist with compliance. Has current and extensive knowledge of all CRA regulations and policies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Community Development Compliance Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Job Summary

    The Administrative Specialist is an essential component of the SLED Team. This professional is often the initial point of contact between SLED and many of its stakeholders. This position is a key part of the team through providing professional administrative support to the ongoing activities of the SLED Team and its related boards. This robust role can be a demanding and rewarding career opportunity for someone with a strong administrative background, willingness to grow, and desire to be a part of a team that makes a difference for the future. The daily activities in this position are coordinated by the SLED Operations Director.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    • Ensure board agendas are appropriately posted, take meeting minutes, and convert to final draft version, ensure completed minutes are appropriately posted online.
    • Perform duties related to traditional administrative functions, purchasing and accounting for office supplies, as well as other related clerical duties.
    • Process routine paperwork, assist with billing functions, enter data, and ensure that documents are neatly stored in online databases.
    • Manage incoming calls and building client traffic in a friendly and sincere manner.
    • Prepare the appropriate Business Center areas for board meetings and conduct outreach to check board attendance when directed.
    • Manage reservations, prepare, and distribute billing invoices for activities and tenants in the SLED Business Center.
    • Take input from building tenants on needed repairs and direct contractors to appropriate areas of the building when necessary.
    • Ensure an inviting overall appearance to the interior and exterior of the Business Center
    • Update organizational contact lists, scan, and input information through hard copy and electronic databases.
    • Participate as required in assisting with the coordination of outside events.
    • Other related responsibilities as directed by the Operations Director, or the CEO.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Education & Experience Requirements

    • As determined acceptable by the CEO.
    • Computer proficiency using Windows operating system.
    • Typing proficiency at minimum 55 words per minute.
