Community Development Compliance Specialist ensures the organization's adherence with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) banking laws. Reviews and analyzes lending activity data as well as other activities and policies of the organization to ensure compliance with CRA policies. Being a Community Development Compliance Specialist coordinates the preparation of required government, regulatory, and other compliance documents for all community development activities. Advises management and coordinates with legal staff on potential impact of actions. Additionally, Community Development Compliance Specialist develops and recommends guidelines and standards to assist with compliance. Has current and extensive knowledge of all CRA regulations and policies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Community Development Compliance Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     We are currently seeking a Compliance Specialist to join our team in Lincoln, Nebraska (US-NE), United States (US).

    Insurance Compliance Specialist

    This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally required benefits.

    Pay for this role starting at $70,000/yr

    Basic Qualifications

    • Must have3years' experience designing and implementing anti-fraud controls.
    • Must have3years'experience assessing fraud risks, e.g., performing risk assessments.
    • Must have 1years' insurance experience.

    Responsibilities:

    • Detecting, reviewing, and logging of suspected fraudulent activity.
    • Escalating suspected fraud activity to Clients and assisting with questions.
    • Collaborating with Clients and assisting with internal audits that are sent to Compliance in relation to fraud processing and escalations.
    • Work with other Compliance team members to create projects based on suspected fraud activity.
    • Draft, maintain, prepare documents such as procedures, job aids, and matrices.
    • Create and review Insurance related 50 State Charts and Contract Reviews. This would encompass all insurance related processes that pertain to specific laws and regulations that are to be supported by insurers, third party administrators, producers, etc.
    • Monitors functional and operational areas for compliance risks related to State and Federal fraud regulations.
    • Able to make independent decisions that have a significant impact on strategic direction.
    • Provide regulatory compliance expertise whenever needed.
    • Maintain, prepare othercompliancedocuments or agreements as needed.
    • Preferred Certified Fraud Examiner Certification

    ***Required schedule availability for this position is Monday-Friday (8:00am to 5:00pm CST). Shift times may be changed as per client requirements. Additionally, Overtime may be required based on business requirements.
