Community Development Compliance Specialist ensures the organization's adherence with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) banking laws. Reviews and analyzes lending activity data as well as other activities and policies of the organization to ensure compliance with CRA policies. Being a Community Development Compliance Specialist coordinates the preparation of required government, regulatory, and other compliance documents for all community development activities. Advises management and coordinates with legal staff on potential impact of actions. Additionally, Community Development Compliance Specialist develops and recommends guidelines and standards to assist with compliance. Has current and extensive knowledge of all CRA regulations and policies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Community Development Compliance Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Job Summary
    Working independently under general supervision and reporting to the Director of Parking, Resiliency, and Sustainability Operations, the Community Service Specialist performs a variety of security, public safety, and parking support, and related campus community service functions. The incumbent provides lead work direction and performs more complex duties such as coordinating safety and parking for campus special events, conducting community service training in such areas as safety and crime prevention, and supporting the public safety communications and records functions. The incumbent may also assist in the development of operational procedures and protocols in support of established policies.

    Key Qualifications
    This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (high school level reading, and writing abilities) and three to six months related experience. Knowledge of and the ability to learn how to use the applicable public safety related equipment and systems is essential. Thorough knowledge of campus layout and parking facilities is highly preferred. Intermediate proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) required. Knowledge of Google Suite and PeopleSoft preferred. The incumbent must possess and/or obtain and thereafter maintain a California Driver's License valid for the operation of any vehicle or equipment required to maintain and operate.

    Salary and Benefits
    Starting salary placement depends on qualifications and experience and is anticipated to be in the range of $3,216 to $3,538 a month. This is a full time, non-exempt position, which will lead toward permanent status following the successful completion of a probationary period.

    This position is eligible for a broad range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, retirement (CalPERS), tuition waiver, vacation and sick leave. In addition, 14 paid holidays are offered each year; 13 scheduled on specific days and a Personal Holiday that may be taken any time during the year.
