Community Development Compliance Specialist jobs in Springfield, MO

Community Development Compliance Specialist ensures the organization's adherence with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) banking laws. Reviews and analyzes lending activity data as well as other activities and policies of the organization to ensure compliance with CRA policies. Being a Community Development Compliance Specialist coordinates the preparation of required government, regulatory, and other compliance documents for all community development activities. Advises management and coordinates with legal staff on potential impact of actions. Additionally, Community Development Compliance Specialist develops and recommends guidelines and standards to assist with compliance. Has current and extensive knowledge of all CRA regulations and policies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Community Development Compliance Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     What you’ll do:

    This is a specialized professional training and development position accountable for developing and delivering training programs, administering assessments and certification requirements, providing coaching, and ensuring knowledge transfer. Employees train personnel in areas such as computer training, professional development, supervisory and managerial training, e-learning and continuous improvement, using established educational requirements and job specific procedures and policies. Employees are responsible for short to medium term objectives and outcomes and performs assignments under the general guidance and advice of a more experienced staff member or supervisor.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)


    Preferred Qualifications:

    Knowledge of training methods and techniques for presenting training. Ability to operate audio-visual aids and other equipment used in the training process. Knowledge of the methods of instruction, preparation of training materials, and principles of personnel development. Knowledge of various training tools. Ability to lead discussions and instruct participants in training classes using a variety of instructional techniques. Knowledge of media used to deliver training. Skills in training instruction and presentation. Skills in coaching initiatives for individuals and groups in classroom settings. Ability to stay abreast of training needs.
