Community Development Compliance Specialist ensures the organization's adherence with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) banking laws. Reviews and analyzes lending activity data as well as other activities and policies of the organization to ensure compliance with CRA policies. Being a Community Development Compliance Specialist coordinates the preparation of required government, regulatory, and other compliance documents for all community development activities. Advises management and coordinates with legal staff on potential impact of actions. Additionally, Community Development Compliance Specialist develops and recommends guidelines and standards to assist with compliance. Has current and extensive knowledge of all CRA regulations and policies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Community Development Compliance Specialist gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     Disability Program Services (DPS) Compliance Manager

    Job Description / Outline

    Supervisor: Sr. Director of Disability Program Services

    A primary function of this and every other job at the “J” is to ensure by whatever rational and legal means necessary that each member, guest, and visitor leaves the “J” feeling just a little better than when they arrived. The DPS Compliance Manager provides administrative support and customer service to ensure compliance with the Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD) and other state regulations. The DPS Compliance Manager will provide direct service to members when necessary.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for maintaining all staff and participant files (including summer camp staff and participants) and all departmental records, data collection sheets, and documentation. This includes incident and accident reports, background checks, and licensure/contract renewal documentation. Accuracy and compliance must be maintained at every step for files, records, data collection, background checks, and documentation.
    • Responsible for monitoring and regularly auditing all records and documentation, completing an audit report of all findings, and follow-up on any issues/discrepancies to ensure needed corrective action has been taken. This includes scheduling required staff DDD training and updating staff files after training completion.
    • Responsible for maintaining all databases including Therap, Focus, EVV, and other DDD sites.
    • Schedules all participants’ quarterly Person-Centered Service Plans (PCSP) with DPS staff for attendance and goal setting.
    • Provides Arts for All and Taglit Directors with compliance related information and communication needed for participants’ quarterly PCSP meetings.
    • Responsible for maintaining all DDD billing requirements including maintaining sign-in sheets, inputting monthly data and reports, submitting monthly billing to accounting, and billing rejections and follow-up.
    • Assistance with DDD contract renewal and addendums and any other compliance related communication and agreements.
    • Will communicate and interact with families (and participants) and work collaboratively with other JCC departments.
    • Provide assistance with developing ongoing education and training as needed.
    • Will attend DPS staff and leadership meetings and fulfill other responsibilities as assigned.
    • Personal conduct should always be professional, including being a positive role model for participants, employees, co-workers, the community, and management.

    Qualifications

    • Experience working with people with developmental disabilities
    • Bachelor’s Degree in related field (preferred)
    • Strong written and oral communication skills
    • Excellent organization skills
    • CPR/First-aid, Article 9 Certification, Abuse and Neglect Certification, Fingerprint Clearance Card (all can be obtained after hire)

    This position is a full-time position and is covered by the Code of Personnel Practices. EOE.

    Pay Rate: $17 per hour

    Schedule: 8-hour shift; Monday to Friday
