• Customer service experience.
• Experience keeping meticulous confidential records.
• Experience working with word processing and spreadsheet software (e.g. MS Office Suite).
• Demonstrated ability to establish goals and priorities and make decisions based on established business processes.
• Demonstrated ability to work and make decisions under pressure, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, while maintaining composure.
• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a team environment, adapting quickly and easily to competing deadlines.
• Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, including public speaking.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed to assist students during busy peak periods.

• Knowledge of and skills with using PeopleSoft Student Information System (SIS).
• Familiarity with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
• Experience working with federal and state financial aid programs, Direct Loans in particular.
• Customer service or advising experience in a higher education setting.
