Community Development Loan Officer oversees the bank's CRA Programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal Community Reinvestment Act banking regulations to meet the credit needs of the area's low to moderate-income populations. Serves as the subject matter expert of CRA laws, rules, and regulations by maintaining a deep and up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements, proposed legislation, and announcements. Being a Community Development Loan Officer reviews and analyzes lending activity data and practices to ensure compliance with CRA policies. Develops, implements, and administers the overall corporate CRA plan and localized or remedial plans with guidelines and standards to assist with compliance. Additionally, Community Development Loan Officer advises management and coordinates with legal staff on the potential impact of actions. Coordinates and delivers reports to bank leadership and regulatory agencies. Ensures the bank has a positive and visible role in community economic development activities, events, and initiatives. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Community Development Loan Officer work is generally independent and collaborative in nature. Contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. To be a Community Development Loan Officer typically requires 4 -7 years of related experience. (Copyright 2024 Salary.com)

    Responsibilities

    The Development Officer position is primarily responsible for the management and support of all events for the Community Memorial Foundation.  Events include, but are not limited to, the Benefactors’ Ball, major gifts receptions, employee giving events and numerous informational and fundraising events held at the hospital and within the community.  

    Qualifications

    Required:

    • Associates Degree
    • Two (2) years of special events experience
    • Current Driver’s License
    • Current and ongoing Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) that is considered insurable under the CMH insurance coverages

     Preferred:

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • Healthcare experience
    • Razor’s Edge database software knowledge 
    • Fundraising special events experience
    • Past work with stewardship or customer service of major donors

     Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Manage all Development Department and Foundation events in concert with the fundraising team, including managing and/or coordinating budgets, contracts, invoices, logistics, correspondence, marketing, volunteers and operations.
  • Work with volunteer committees and provide meeting agendas, minutes and reports/analyses of status and results.
  • Coordinate all Development Department events and activities such as Employee Giving, Grateful Patient events, etc.
  • Participate in departmental staff planning and team meetings to ensure overall direction is clearly understood and that the plans supports the Department’s identified strategic direction.
  • Maintain professional fund raising competence to ensure that the most effective strategies are operationalized and incorporated into all development processes for which the position is responsible.
  • Supervise event volunteers and vendors during events.
  • Ensure smooth operation of all fundraising events.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
