Community Development Manager manages the economic development lending activities to support or subsidize improvements in the community. Ensures company visibility is established in the area and promotes relationships with groups, agencies, and organizations in the community to identify lending and other business development opportunities. Being a Community Development Manager evaluates the current and future credit needs of the community and develops a strong understanding of the local issues and needs. Actively monitors public programs that support community development initiatives. Additionally, Community Development Manager initiates policy changes or enhancements to ensure compliance with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and other regulations. Makes recommendations to expand and develop lending programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Community Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Community Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Job title: Bilingual Community Development/Outreach Specialist

    We are seeking a full-time, bilingual Parent Partners Plus Specialist to coordinate home visitation referrals and outreach parents of young children for home visitation programs throughout Maricopa County. This person will work closely with the Program Manager to build and maintain an alliance of family support/home visitation providers for expecting parents and families with children birth to age five.

    In this role you will:

    • Conduct phone screens with families
    • Make referrals to home visitation programs and community resources
    • Maintain information in a database and generate reports to partners and funders
    • Follow up with families and community programs regarding services
    • Keep detailed records of phone interactions with families
    • Plan and staff community outreach activities to recruit families for home visitation services in Maricopa County

    What it takes:

    • Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Bilingual in Spanish required.
    • One (1) year experience in community outreach, engagement, recruitment, and coordination with community providers
    • Knowledgeable about home visitation and the home visitation system
    • Skilled in data collection
    • Knowledgeable of community resources in Maricopa County
    • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card - OR - must qualify for a valid Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
