Community Development Manager manages the economic development lending activities to support or subsidize improvements in the community. Ensures company visibility is established in the area and promotes relationships with groups, agencies, and organizations in the community to identify lending and other business development opportunities. Being a Community Development Manager evaluates the current and future credit needs of the community and develops a strong understanding of the local issues and needs. Actively monitors public programs that support community development initiatives. Additionally, Community Development Manager initiates policy changes or enhancements to ensure compliance with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and other regulations. Makes recommendations to expand and develop lending programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Community Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Community Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Our Growth Team in Maine is seeking a Community Partnership Development Manager to facilitate services on/off-site with our clients, community partners, and healthcare providers.     The Role
    The Community Partnership Development Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive growth strategy designed to drive growth efforts in the state while supporting BLP’s mission and values; Specifically, the Community Partnership Development Manager will both maximize utilization of BLP’s existing community partnerships and referents as well as advance the development of new growth opportunities. The Community Partnership Development Manager leverages existing referral relationships and community contact to increase BLP’s growth trajectory and leads the maintenance of those relationships on an ongoing basis. The Community Partnership Development Manager will supervise other Community Outreach workers in Maine and work closely with Marketing, Central (Intake), and Operations Teams throughout the organization to ensure optimal customer service is delivered to external stakeholders, internal teammates throughout the organization are kept apprised of relevant state resources for our members, and appropriate marketing materials are created and available for all Growth and Outreach activities in Maine.

    • Demonstrating and communicating the core values of Better Life Partners while upholding the organization's mission.
    • Participating in recruitment to include hiring, training, and supervising other field staff associates
    • Identify community organizations that are aligned with our mission to explore potential growth partnership opportunities
    • Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including community organizations, businesses, government agencies, and healthcare providers to expand our network and enhance referral pathways.
    • Collaborates with various teams to develop and implement effective outreach initiatives and strategies to increase membership
    • Act as the primary point of contact for external partners and stakeholders responding to inquiries and providing necessary information or support.
    • Collaborate with potential partners to identify opportunities for collaboration, partnerships, and joint initiatives
    • Represents the organization at meetings, events, and partner sites arriving early to set up for meetings and events to raise awareness of our services.
    • Providing community outreach and information and conducting presentations with confidence
    • Assisting and maintaining documentation of meetings, events, and functions
    • Maintain timely and accurate documentation of efforts in Salesforce daily
    • Active participation in team, calls and meetings and offering potential solutions to obstacles incurred
    • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Regular travel within the State of Maine
    You are a good fit if you have:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
    • A passion to work in a healthcare field
    • Minimum of two (2) years experience in the treatment/recovery field, MAT/MOUD program, preferred
    • Minimum two (2) years experience of experience in sales, marketing, admissions, outreach, or business development roles, preferably in the human resource field
    • Excellent time management and reliability
    • Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor required
    • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
    • Flexible schedule required - ability to travel for outreach events and meetings to include night and weekend availability
    • Exceptionally strong work ethic, one who takes initiative
    • Self-motivated to help as many people as possible
    • Team player with an “all hands on deck” positive attitude, organized/able to multitask
    • Reliable internet and strong computer skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
    • Valid driver's license, access to your own means of reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
    • Perform additional duties as requested
    This is a full-time, exempt position. The starting salary range for this position is $61,000 - $81,750 annually equity benefits. The final compensation package is influenced by various factors such as experience, education, degrees earned, market data, and business requirements.
