Community Development Manager manages the economic development lending activities to support or subsidize improvements in the community. Ensures company visibility is established in the area and promotes relationships with groups, agencies, and organizations in the community to identify lending and other business development opportunities. Being a Community Development Manager evaluates the current and future credit needs of the community and develops a strong understanding of the local issues and needs. Actively monitors public programs that support community development initiatives. Additionally, Community Development Manager initiates policy changes or enhancements to ensure compliance with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and other regulations. Makes recommendations to expand and develop lending programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Community Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Community Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Position Summary
    Under the general direction and supervision of the CFO, the Coordinator serves as a liaison between educational institutions and SWMTCHC by coordinating on-site, learning opportunities and development for students in healthcare fields.  The Coordinator facilitates and tracks employee training and assists with development of training materials; participates in onboarding and orientation functions of both students and employees; and supports the HR department tasks and functions.
     
    Position Requirements
    Education:  High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or higher degree in a business or education - related field preferred. 
    Licenses/Certifications:Any that may be required to be obtained for teaching specific programs or courses  
    Experience:  Two years prior experience in teaching or training environment required; prior experience in healthcare clinic administration and/or human resources is preferred 
     
    Essential Functions, Roles, and Responsibilities
    • Build and maintain relationships with universities and other partnering organizations for recruitment and training purposes
    • Act as a SWMTCHC liaison and representative by attending recruitment events in various locations
    • Ensure all affiliation agreements with SWMTCHC partnering organizations are completed accurately and kept secure 
    • Ensure all official documents (contracts, agreements, MOU, etc.) are signed by appropriate parties and submitted to the appropriate internal personnel for proper recordkeeping
    • Responsible for ensuring all sites have correct and up to date paperwork for students rotating through each site 
    • Guide departments with curriculum building and implementation for student rotations.  Work with universities and students looking for clinical rotations including the following:
    • Assisting students through the application process
    • Identifying an appropriate internal preceptor and assist with school paperwork
    • Coordinating with internal providers to develop clinical rotation schedules for students
    • Creating, updating, and maintaining student files
    • Conduct student onboarding and offboarding following internal procedures
    • Assist with student housing
    • Facilitate and coordinate staff training and development programs such as the National Institute for Medical Assistant Advancement (NIMAA), HOSA Future Health Professionals, and others
    • Coordinate and oversee Litmos, a Learning Management System (LMS)
    • Conduct appropriate research and coordinate with internal stakeholders to create training content
    • Review LMS’s pre-built courses and develop and incorporate into appropriate learning paths per department 
    • Maintain up to date employee information in LMS 
    • Facilitate employee training for using LMS 
    • Coordinate training required for organizational compliance
    • Teach and facilitate non-LMS training sessions as required
    • Coordinate with supervisors and management to identify appropriate organizational trainings
    • Assist departments with onboarding new employees through various assigned tasks including, but not limited to, facility tours, training, paperwork completion, preparing employee files, binders, and ID badges, etc.
    • Assist HR department with recruiting efforts, scheduling interviews, reference checks, ensuring completeness of personnel files, document tracking and filing, and other related tasks
    • Assist organization in preparing marketing information and materials as requested
    • Assist with facilitation of internal committees and groups as requested
    • Participate in internal committees and external peer groups as requested 
    • Other duties as assigned

    • Highly computer literate with capabilities in Microsoft Office programs, LMS, Canva, Adobe, and other organizational computer programs and tools

    Physical Demands/Working Conditions:  
    General office/clinic conditions are pleasant; good, clean working conditions where accident and hazards are negligible; requires short periods of moderate lifting, pushing, or pulling objects up to twenty pounds. Clear diction and acute hearing are necessary for effective communication with the staff and public. 
     
    Position is based in the Butte; however, position responsibilities may require travel on occasion. Use of personal vehicle or company vehicle is required for travel; therefore, a valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance and registration is required.
