Community Development Manager manages the economic development lending activities to support or subsidize improvements in the community. Ensures company visibility is established in the area and promotes relationships with groups, agencies, and organizations in the community to identify lending and other business development opportunities. Being a Community Development Manager evaluates the current and future credit needs of the community and develops a strong understanding of the local issues and needs. Actively monitors public programs that support community development initiatives. Additionally, Community Development Manager initiates policy changes or enhancements to ensure compliance with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and other regulations. Makes recommendations to expand and develop lending programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Community Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Community Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Property Management Company is seeking a self-motivated, organized, goal-oriented individual to join our winning team as a Community Manager to lead a Manufactured Housing Community in Temple, TX.  The successful candidate will work closely with the Operations Manager and on-site maintenance. This full-time salaried position starts at $40,000 annually based on experience. 

    Property Manager Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Respond to resident inquiries and resolve resident complaints
    • Receive and enter payments into our property management system
    • Prepare and deliver late notices and perform the collections and legal filing process
    • Walk through the community regularly to maintain relationships with residents
    • Oversee efforts of maintenance staff and vendors
    • Enforce and maintain community rules and regulations

    Property Manager Required skills: 

    • Highly organized and disciplined
    • Self-motivated, proactive and able to follow directions well
    • Excellent communications skills
    • Computer skills, including Microsoft products
