Community Development Manager manages the economic development lending activities to support or subsidize improvements in the community. Ensures company visibility is established in the area and promotes relationships with groups, agencies, and organizations in the community to identify lending and other business development opportunities. Being a Community Development Manager evaluates the current and future credit needs of the community and develops a strong understanding of the local issues and needs. Actively monitors public programs that support community development initiatives. Additionally, Community Development Manager initiates policy changes or enhancements to ensure compliance with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and other regulations. Makes recommendations to expand and develop lending programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Community Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Community Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Business Development Manager

  • LSI is growing; we are looking for deliberate and diligent Business Development Managers to walk the line between Account Executive and Customer Success.  This role will be best filled by a strong team member with the skills to communicate from the Board Room to the Exhibit Floor and make sure our customers are heard, represented and supported.  As part of that role, you will be very well familiar with our clients and their business. You will continually identify customer needs or opportunities for LSI services that extend beyond their current scope. You will build a business case and outline the needs, implications, value proposition and work with client and internal stakeholders to craft a solution based on LSI Capabilities.
     
    This position is based at LSI's Corporate office in Layton UT

    In this role, you will:
    • Lead the growth of a group of managed accounts.
    • Learn the intricacies of Federal and State procurement and acquisition processes.
    • Collaborate on the development and execution of Strategic Account Plans that will structure your plan of engagement and growth.
    • Heavily engage with Operational counterparts and leadership on Account status, history, potential and challenges.
    • Work with cross-functional business units to ensure successful delivery on established client objectives.
    • Provide thought leadership in your role as someone who can significantly influence the growth and trajectory of LSI, seek and implement continuous improvement in your daily work.
    • We already assume you are organized and experienced with basic business tools like Office 365, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM, etc.

    • 3 years of experience in early funnel sales and account management.
    • Professional communication skills including writing, speaking and presentations.
    • High degree of comfort engaging with customers virtually and in-person.
    Requirements:
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
    • Successfully pass a drug screen and background check.
    • Ability to travel 5-15%.
