Community Development Manager manages the economic development lending activities to support or subsidize improvements in the community. Ensures company visibility is established in the area and promotes relationships with groups, agencies, and organizations in the community to identify lending and other business development opportunities. Being a Community Development Manager evaluates the current and future credit needs of the community and develops a strong understanding of the local issues and needs. Actively monitors public programs that support community development initiatives. Additionally, Community Development Manager initiates policy changes or enhancements to ensure compliance with Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and other regulations. Makes recommendations to expand and develop lending programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Community Development Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Community Development Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Part Time House Manager

    Under the supervision of the Program Director, the part-time House Manager is responsible for maintaining a structured and safe environment during the over-night hours, provide crisis intervention, and perform brief counseling (if needed) during their tour. The Part-time House manager cannot leave the building during their tour of duty. The Residents must be monitored 24 hours a day 365 days per year.

    responsibilities and Duties:

    • The Part-time House Manager is responsible for maintaining a structured and safe environment during the overnight hours, weekends, and holidays.
    • Provide crisis intervention and brief counseling services (if needed) for residents enrolled in Brownsville Community Residential Center (BCRC).
    • Document all pertinent activities in the communication logbook during his/her tour of duty.
    • Every hour the part-time House Manager must tour the entire facility.
    • The Part-time House Manager is responsible for always carrying a Narcan Kit.
    • Breathalyze or obtain a urinalysis from Residents when suspected a Resident has relapsed.
    • Must effectively communicate with Program Director or Assistant Program Director when needed.

    Requirements

    • High School Diploma/or its equivalent.
    • Prior experience working with a diverse population.
    • Must be able to walk up four flights of stairs.

    Schedule EVERY Saturday 12am to 8am & Every other Sunday/Monday 12am to 8am

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $19.13 per hour
