• School Readiness Program Seeking Assistant Teacher in Nowata, Oklahoma

We are looking for a professional with a heart to work with children in a preschool 3-4 year old classroom.

• We provide a two staff team to help guide the development and learning of our students.
• Teachers would have planning time before and after the children arrive and leave for the day.
• Teachers will do assessments and provide report cards with progress during parent teacher conferences 3x's during the Head Start school year.
• Our school schedule runs August - May of each year.
• Teachers use the months of June and July for vacation time, training, cleaning and preparing for the new school year.

The pay for an assistant teacher without a CDA is $14.38. Assistant teachers with a CDA will start @ $14.64

The pay range for teachers AA/AS in relevant degree and with ECE credit hours will range from $15.32

The work hours are typically, 7:30-3:30 or similar. Children are present either 5 or 6 hours of the work day depending on the location of the position. This allows time for cleaning, planning, and required paperwork.

CARD HS Is actively hiring for an Assistant Teacher in the Nowata area. CARD teachers work in classrooms to provide structure, care, nurturing, and ensure the health and safety of our little ones in all environments (classroom and playground)!

ALL FTE positions come with full benefits (paid time off at the rate of day each of sick and vacation per month, and paid federal holidays, as well as paid training. College can also be a benefit as can CDA. Salary range is commensurate with experience and education. All insurances are included, as well as retirement annuity. Full year position (does not get summers off). Benefits do not include childcare but all interested may apply for inclusion for their child.

Must pass background check; for some positions, employee must have on-site vehicle and valid DL. Knowledge and experience with young children in group care highly desired. EEOC.'
