Western Nebraska Community College is accepting applications for a full-time Admissions Director.

Responsibilities: The Admissions Director provides strategic leadership for the Admissions Office. The position is responsible for working collaboratively with colleagues throughout the College to contribute to enrollment priorities as defined by the comprehensive Strategic Enrollment Management (SEM) plan for Western Nebraska Community College. The Director manages the College-wide operations of the Admission Office; hires and trains staff members as well as collaborates with staff from other areas of the College; develops and reviews enrollment programs as well as marketing materials on a regular basis; manages application processing, review, and conversion; and manages the department’s budget and utilizes information technology to support the office. The Admissions Director strives to ensure that diversity, equity and inclusion are essential components of the recruitment process.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree is required; a graduate degree is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience with Microsoft Office Suite, strong customer service focus required. Five years of admissions experience, progressively responsible management and supervisory experience, in-depth knowledge of higher education admissions and recruitment strategies, and database and other admissions related software preferred. Possession of, or the ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record that does not exclude the driver from coverage under WNCC’s vehicle insurance is required.

Salary: Commensurate.

Start Date: Negotiable.
