    Full Stack Web Developer

    Savannah, GA (open to remote)

     

    The Community Choice Financial ® Family of Brands is looking for a Full Stack Web Developer to join the team and oversee the front-end (client-facing) and back-end (server-side) technology, programming, and development for several branded websites. You will merge your CSS, JavaScript, HTML, PHP and Laravel knowledge to effectively create website foundations using back-end applications and database structures. Your love for logic and problem-solving combined with your desire to stay knowledgeable of development tools, programming techniques, and industry trends will be your keys to excel in this role.


    Essential Responsibilities

    • Develop visually appealing front end website architecture, including translating designer mock-ups and wireframes into front-end code.
    • Design user interactions on web pages.
    • Develop functional databases, applications, and servers to support websites on the back end
    • Ensure cross-platform optimization for mobile through responsive design methodologies.
    • Develop and design RESTful and/or GraphQL based services and APIs.
    • Be knowledgeable and stay abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
    • Strategize organizational direction on emerging technology platforms and communicate the effectiveness to stakeholders.
    • Stay current and provide insight on cutting edge software approaches, architectures, and vendors.
    • Ensure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are being considered when architecting solutions.
    • Keep job knowledge up to date by studying new development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal and professional networks; participating in professional organizations.
    • Physical demands for this position frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, move about freely inside and occasionally outside of the office, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard
    • This is a full-time role that requires in-person attendance during normal business hours


    Minimum Qualifications

    ·         Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

    ·         Fluent in CSS, JavaScript and HTML.

    ·         Strong knowledge of PHP, Laravel and MySQL.

    ·         Proficient in build tooling such Vite / Laravel Mix, esbuild, and SASS / SCSS.

    ·         Experience working with languages such as PHP, .Net, Python or Ruby.

    ·         Experience working with server technologies including Apache, Node, and Nginx.

    ·         Experience in API design and development.

    ·         Understanding of libraries such as React, Vue, Angular, AlpineJS, Svelte, NextJS, NuxtJS, or jQuery.

    Preferred Qualifications and Skills

    ·         Experience with Utility First CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS.

    ·         Working knowledge of PHP Frameworks such as Laravel and/or Symphony.

    ·         Working knowledge of Wordpress.
