Northeast Kingdom Community Action is seeking an experienced nonprofit Director of Community Engagement to join our team! Your primary responsibility will be to support the mission of NEKCA (Northeast Kingdom Community Action) in connecting with communities throughout the Northeast Kingdom (Caledonia, Essex, and Orleans Counties). Overall, the Community Engagement Director will be responsible for designing and executing outreach activities to build relationships with communities, interfaith partners, non-profits, schools, health care providers and other stakeholders in the NEK. The ideal candidate will have experience in community engagement and program development. The Director will work with local community organizations, and other stakeholders, to help create and maintain relationships, build awareness, and expand the reach of our initiatives. In this role, as the Director, you will also be responsible for developing and implementing marketing and communications plans to promote these initiatives. The Director will also provide guidance and support to interagency departments in the development and implementation of their own community initiatives.
