Community Health Director is responsible for developing plans for community-based health programs aimed at the prevention of disease and promotion of health. Recommends community health initiatives, policy implications and best practices after reviewing health literature and statistics. Being a Community Health Director identifies community health program related grant funding and develops grant proposals. Manages specific community health programs from planning and design through implementation and evaluation. Additionally, Community Health Director requires a master's degree in a related area. Typically reports to a top management. The Community Health Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Community Health Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. The successful candidate serves as the leader for patient service operations with a focus on three major areas:
Patient Surveys and Feedback:
Oversee all aspects of our patient satisfaction survey process using data to drive improvement:
Wellness Center:
Patient Registration:
Oversee the department that efficiently checks-in patients, ensures accurate collection and data entry of patient demographics and insurance information, posts patient payments, and refers patients facing barriers to other Crescent departments that can provide translation or financial counseling.

You must have at least an associate degree in a healthcare related field. We do give preference to those with a bachelor's degree in a healthcare related field or a Master of Business Administration.
