    Salary Range: $88,500-$125,000k annually

    What the position looks like:

    Supervises: Community Sales Liaisons in Columbus, Ohio, Cincinnati, Ohio and Indianapolis, IN.

    Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or business-related field.

    Experience

    • Minimum 5 years’ sales experience, at least one in home health, hospice, or other post-acute healthcare area.
    • Minimum 2 years’ supervisory/ management experience including hiring, firing, coaching, counseling, and staff development.


    What your responsibilities will be:

    The Director of Community Business Development will be responsible for executing company-wide business development strategy to maintain and increase market share at the corporate, regional, and multistate levels. This position is also responsible for managing the processes and personnel related to the successful admission of home health care in the community.


    Essential Functions

    • Direct and collaborate with staff to identify and develop opportunities to increase market share in current and new markets.
    • Direct and coach staff to achieve/exceed listed individual and team goals.
    • Establish relationships with referral sources such as physicians, hospitals, long-term care facilities, etc.
    • Educate referral sources on the components of home health care services and explain the interrelation of each of the services to the specific referral sources.
    • Assist in identifying and resolving any issue, dissatisfaction, or problem that the referral source is experiencing with the Company’s various services.
    • Serve as the Company’s representative in the community to promote a positive image of the Company and to promote interest in the Company’s various home health services.
    • Collaborate with internal partners to ensure unified sales process is understood and adhered to.
    • Participate in company-sponsored programs and meetings.
    • Ensure existing business segment growth and service, maintaining the targeted retention rate and sales goals.
    • Responsible for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, counseling, and terminations of assigned subordinates. Consults with Corporate Human Resources prior to making hiring or termination decisions.
    • Provides internal marketing education to home care departments and branch offices; provides education to external facilities in order to broaden awareness of agency services and increase referral base.
    • Conduct consistent coaching sessions with direct reports.
    • Demonstrate professional conduct and ethics according to organization policies and procedures.
    • Able to work cooperatively as a member of a team.
    • Conduct joint, in-person calls with direct reports.
    • Ensure that quality and timeliness standards are achieved by their team.
    • Other duties as assigned.
