We are seeking an enthusiastic professional Director of Associate Degree Nursing Program - Instructor of Allied Health who is passionate about cultivating the school's mission and objectives through student instruction, guidance and review in order to ensure successful development of each student. This position is a full-time position for the Lewisburg WV campus on site and will report directly to the Dean of Pre-professional programs. The position will work collaboratively with management, faculty and staff within the department and college to serve the best interests of the students. Some travel will be required to additional New River CTC locations.
Job Summary
The Director of Associate Degree Nursing (ADN Program serves as the academic leader and manages the administrative functions of the ADN Program. The Director of ADN Nursing Programs will provide the vision and leadership required to support and enhance the mission of the Associate Degree Nursing Program (ADN). The Director of ADN Program report to the Dean for Transfer and Pre-Professional Programs.
Nature of Work
The Director of ADN Program is responsible for supporting student success by creating an optimum learning environment. Developing curriculum; managing effective instructional activities; responding to student needs; developing and demonstrating professional cooperative work relationships with administration, faculty, and staff; supporting college administrative requirements; and maintaining competency in administrative legislation and instructional teaching field(s). He/she will be responsible for quality instruction and for effective participation and interest in the total affairs of the college.
