Duties:

- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Implement individualized care plans and follow established protocols.
- Foster a safe and supportive environment for residents.
- Promote independence and community integration.
- Document observations and report any changes in behavior or health status to the appropriate supervisor.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the overall well-being of residents.

Experience:

- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of systems and processes related to caregiving for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Ability to drive and transport residents to appointments or community activities.
- Familiarity with working with people with developmental disabilities and providing support in areas such as personal care, behavior management, and skill development.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
- Knowledge of resident rights and the ability to advocate for individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Experience in home care, assisted living, or senior care is a plus.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
