About the roleThe role of Household Assistant - Cleaner is responsible for providing domestic assistance, so that our clients may continue to live comfortably in their homes.

The Household support may vary according to client's needs : vacuuming, mopping, cleaning fans or showers, dusting, etc.

In addition to the operational side, as part of this role, you will be ensuring positive relationships with clients so they can engage and promote quality of life that enhances the ability to maintain their independence.

Household Assistants are accountable to ensure that all in home care that is provided is client focused and respectful.Immediate start!3 Full-time positions are currently available.

You display a professional, positive, proactive attitude with clients and willing to invest extra effort when required. You have a high level of interpersonal skills which allows you to liaise and engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.

You need to have a current NT Drivers Licence and personal registered and insured vehicle.Skills & ExperienceNT Drivers Licence and personal registered and insured vehicle.

Knowledge and experience of cleaning functions.Demonstrated experience in working in a diverse team of people, working with required timeframes, setting own goals and achieving required outcomes.

Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander issues in Australian society, in particular, those issues relating to health and aged care.

Demonstrated ability to respond and adapt to competing priorities whilst working unsupervised.Demonstrated ability to empathise with Aged People, their families and Personal Carers.
