Outreach is hiring a Full-time Grants Specialist at Outreach Central Office to join the 3-person grants team, serve as the administrator for government-funded grants, and ensure that all grants are managed within budget and fiscal guidelines.

Responsibilities:
- The Grants Specialist will be the fiscal and program administrator for government-funded grants and will ensure that all grants are managed within programmatic, budget, and fiscal guidelines.
- The Grants Specialist will manage the grant budget development for grant applications, compliance, and program reporting.
- Monitor grant expenditures and collaborate with the Business Office to maintain accurate Financial Edge reporting and tracking of grant expenses.
- Conduct internal monitoring of grant funded programs and lead all aspects of Outreach’s Monthly Activity Summaries (MAS) process and tracking system, ensuring grant compliance and appropriate accountability.
- The Grants Specialist will serve as the fiscal contact person/co-liaison for grants assigned to the position alongside the Director of Grants Management.
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5 pm.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 2 years of related experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly, professionally, and succinctly to a variety of audiences.
- Advanced level skill in MS Excel. Proficiency in MS Office.
- Demonstrated knowledge in grants management.
- Strong attention to detail, high numerical accuracy, and project management skills.
- Efficient work style with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
