General Summary: Provides leadership and support in the development and implementation of the outreach and recruitment plan, oversees key strategies, and works with the Executive Director of Enrollment Services in the administration of the Office of Enrollment Services. The position is responsible for targeted outreach initiatives, developing, supervising, and training outreach and recruitment staff and coordinating recruitment travel and events. Additionally, the position assists the Executive Director of Enrollment Services in developing plans and initiatives to attract a diverse student population. Represents CCAC at public events in order to recruit and increase student enrollment at CCAC.
Requirements: Master's degree and four years' experience in a sales and/or customer facing position required. Training or experience in marketing, admissions or outside sales. Ability to work independently and in a team setting to meet expected goals. Ability to multi-task. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Related professional position in higher education. A valid Pennsylvania driver's license is required. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to travel and be housed at any of the College's campuses or centers and to serve at enrollment related events and serve as a representative of the College at public and private events.
Duties:
1. Provides supervisory oversight and management of the Enrollment Services Coordinator schedules, territories and recruitment activities.
2. Provides on-boarding and on-going training for new and current Enrollment Services Coordinators and staff.
3. Maintains close working relationship with staff who manage office systems to assure optimal use of technology tools.
4. Spearheads new recruiting program opportunities with the K-12 sector, community based organizations and business/industry sector.
5. In concert with the Executive Director of Enrollment Services, collaborates with enrollment management and academic division staff to develop and implement a strategic Enrollment Services outreach and recruitment plan that encompasses the adult and high school market.
6. Establishes a weekly and monthly database (school contact list) for each Enrollment Services Coordinators' territory that tracks, documents and assesses the outreach and recruiting activities, program offerings & outcomes (inquiries, applications, admits & enrolled).
7. Conducts high school visits and participates in college fairs targeted at high school students.
8. Conducts visits and participates in other outreach or promotional activities at businesses, non-profits and other organizations to attract adult/non-traditional students.
9. Conducts and/or provides support for on-campus recruitment/Enrollment Services activities including meeting with prospective students and guardians to discuss college the enrollment process and showcase the campus facilities.
10. Represents CCAC by conducting presentations to student and parent groups.
11. Develops and maintains relationships with personnel representing high schools, social agencies and organizations, the business community and external constituencies.
12. Seeks information and maintains regular contact with the academic departments, placement, continuing education and college centers to remain current about new programs, program changes and other information critical to the successful recruitment of new students and their progress to enrollment.
13. Performs other duties as required or as assigned.
Clearances: Current criminal record/child abuse clearances will be required if offered the position and in order to be employed at the College. The three clearances are Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Records Check, and Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Criminal Background Check.
