COMMUNITY OUTREACH SPECIALIST jobs in Queens Village, NY

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Director of Marketing & Community Relations in planning, managing and coordinating internal and external marketing projects
• Collaborate with community partners, schools and health insurance plans to develop and implement marketing initiatives
• Develop marketing materials in variety of formats, including flyer, audio, video and print
• Coordinate and participate in outreach and marketing events such as community fairs, workshops, open house events, etc.
• Coordinate with departments and project teams regarding implementation activities
• Assist patients in navigating the health center system including appointment booking, translations and care coordination
• Coordinate with press to organize press event
• Prepare reports related to marketing initiatives
• Collect data for review and analysis
• Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs
• Available to work at events on weekends and/or evening
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in health or marketing, social service, or related field
• Working knowledge of applications (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint) required
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in a human service or health-related setting, especially conducting outreach and/or marketing in the Asian, South Asian and/or Spanish community
• Strong project management, interpersonal and communication skills required
• Professional oral and written proficiency in English
• Bilingual in English and Bengali

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: $50,000.00 - 55,000.00 per year
