Community Relations Manager manages programs supporting the corporate strategy designed to promote and represent the organization and brand as a socially responsible force in the community. Creates and plans outreach programs that engage, support, and partner with the community and produce a positive impact to address local issues. Being a Community Relations Manager collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop clear objectives and deliver meaningful and measurable results. Youth and Family Intensive Case Manager

    Job Description
    The person in this position will work with youth and their families to deliver intensive case management, skills training and medication education primarily in community-based settings, such as homes and schools. This position uses evidenced based treatment, individualized levels of care, and person-centered recovery planning to best serve youth and their families. The person in this position will assist youth and their families with accessing community resources, and provide rehabilitative services and crisis intervention when needed. All services are documented in an electronic health record and provided in collaboration with a multidisciplinary recovery team.
    The person in this position will have a passion and aptitude for working with youth who have severe emotional needs. Knowledge of psychotherapeutic medications, case management functions, substance use treatment, crisis services, community resources, and evidence-based practices in the behavioral health field is critical for success in the position.
    This position necessitates innovative thinking, patience, resiliency, skills in advocacy, service coordination, mental health assessment and evaluation, collaborative person-centered recovery planning and dual-diagnosis treatment. The person in this position will effectively work independently and on a team, prioritize needs during crisis situations, engage in regular meetings and training opportunities, and perform other duties as assigned with a positive attitude.

    Salary: $20.44 – $27.69/hr

    *Range of salary subject to applicable differentials listed below*

    Applicable Differentials:

    $1.00/hour – 1 year with BTCS

    $1.00/hour – 2 years with BTCS

    $1.00/hour – 4 years with BTCS

    $1.00/hour – 6 years with BTCS

    $1.00/hour – Advanced Licensure

    $.75/hour – Bilingual

    $0.50/hr LCDC

    401A: Through this governmental plan, we offer a 7% match to employee contributions.
    457/403(b): Through these governmental plans, employees may contribute pre-tax earnings for retirement. Employees may participate on the first day of employment.

    Credentials
    Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a human services field; comprehensive knowledge of mental health diagnoses. Ability to work as a member of a team within a fast-paced, recovery-focused environment is essential to this position. Must have a valid Texas Driver's License and maintain approved driving status throughout employment.

  • If degree is not in a human services field, a minimum of 24 college credits in a human services field are required


  • Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree and/or clinical license in psychology, education, social work or a related human service field; one-year work or practicum/clinical experience in case management, crisis intervention and/or psychosocial rehabilitative services.

    Bilingual in ASL or Spanish preferred; experience in providing concurrent documentation within an electronic database preferred.
