Community Relations Manager manages programs supporting the corporate strategy designed to promote and represent the organization and brand as a socially responsible force in the community. Creates and plans outreach programs that engage, support, and partner with the community and produce a positive impact to address local issues. Being a Community Relations Manager collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop clear objectives and deliver meaningful and measurable results. Supports community relations programs' entire life cycle, including coordinating events, managing volunteers, and executing grant proposals. Additionally, Community Relations Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Community Relations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Community Relations Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Under the supervision of a Regional Manager, the Community Manager is responsible for the uniform enforcement of rules and regulations while maintaining good Community relations and ensuring compliance with the law.

    Day-to-day tasks may include, but are not limited to:
    • Ensure a clean, safe, and code-compliant environment.
    • Uphold and value every resident’s right to peaceful enjoyment of their homesite and the community.
    • Collect and deposit rent payments, and perform all related data entry and bookkeeping tasks.
    • Process applications for tenancy and facilitate a seamless move-in/move-out process.
    • Prepare tenancy contracts and corresponding documents and present them for signing.
    • Perform routine inspections and take corrective action for noted deficiencies.
    • Handle resident complaints with urgency and empathy.
    • Recognize and address maintenance needs.
    • Solicit third-party contractor bids and oversee third-party projects.
    • Effectively respond to urgent/emergency situations that occur outside of normal business hours.
    • Other unspecified reasonable tasks as assigned by the supervisor or corporate personnel to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the community.
    Desired skills & experience:
    • A minimum of one year of property management experience required.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Working knowledge of tenant laws.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Rent Manager experience a plus.
    Compensation:
    • $18 per hour. Housing can be negotiated into compensation package.
