Community Relations Manager manages programs supporting the corporate strategy designed to promote and represent the organization and brand as a socially responsible force in the community. Creates and plans outreach programs that engage, support, and partner with the community and produce a positive impact to address local issues. Being a Community Relations Manager collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to develop clear objectives and deliver meaningful and measurable results. Supports community relations programs' entire life cycle, including coordinating events, managing volunteers, and executing grant proposals. Additionally, Community Relations Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Community Relations Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Community Relations Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Primary Responsibilities:

    The qualified Community Relations Director will be responsible for promoting the community through in-person and virtual tours and events, telephone and creative follow-up, community outreach to referral groups and influencers and related sales functions with the primary goal of generating qualified move-ins to meet or exceed census goals. Input of all sales and lead information into CRM system is mission critical.

    Excellent compensation includes base salary plus commission and bonus potential as well as a generous benefits package.

    Requirements:

    The perfect candidate will have at least two years of commissioned sales and/or successful senior living experience. The perfect candidate will have proven track record in senior living communities, face-to-face selling and possess strong relationship-building skills as well as excellent telephone skills, lead management and selling/closing techniques tailored to meet the needs of our senior living market as required skills for this position. In addition, he or she must be a high energy, persistent self-starter with excellent written and oral communication skills. This full-time position includes some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
