Job Description:
Phoenix Pro Connect is currently seeking an Analyst to their team. As an Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and compliant commission processes across various business units. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, prior commission and/or compensation experience preferred along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Complete commission accruals in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP standards, collaborating closely with the Accounting Policy team.
• Assist in the expense close process and contribute to final commission flash reports, providing insights on variances against prior periods and forecasts.
• Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations in Oracle.
• Support the administration of the Xactly Incent systems and facilitate the monthly commission payment process.
• Assist with the annual rollover, development, testing, and implementation of new commission plans.
• Understand compensation plans for multiple sales channels to ensure accurate calculations and payments in compliance with contracts.
• Liaise with key stakeholders to discuss changes in commission plans and identify automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with various teams, including Legal, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Treasury, Pricing, and IT/engineering, on expense impacting activities.
• Support integration efforts and create process and controls from an accounting perspective for new products acquired by the company.
• Review customer contracts, provide business support to sales teams, and ensure commissions are paid appropriately.
• Gather and prepare information for internal and external audit, tax, and regulatory compliance activities.

Qualifications:

• Advanced proficiency in Excel & Google Suite for setting out commission scenarios and models.
• Experience with Salesforce, Tableau, and Zuora Billing.
• Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong planning and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Investigative mindset with the ability to challenge management where appropriate.
• Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, highly collaborative setting.
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree with 3-5 years of accounting & compensation experience, preferably in large or medium-sized firms.
• Experience accounting for activities in international markets; knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP preferred.
