Compensation Director is responsible for the design, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of the organization's compensation programs, including base pay, incentive pay, and performance management programs. Leads the compensation function and works with senior management to ensure that compensation strategy and programs support the organization's business objectives, meet all legal requirements, and deliver value and equitable pay. Being a Compensation Director develops compensation budget for assigned areas and manages budget after it is approved. Establishes data collection and analysis processes for market, pay equity, and other compensation studies. Additionally, Compensation Director may be responsible for entire organization or for one or more major segments of a larger organization. Requires a bachelor's degree. May require a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Compensation Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Compensation Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.     OpenEye is seeking a Sales Compensation Manager with a strong focus on reporting to join our team.

    Job Summary:

    As a Sales Compensation Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing our sales compensation plans to motivate and incentivize our sales team, aligning with our company’s sales strategies and goals. The Sales Compensation Manager will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and administering our sales compensation programs, with a significant emphasis on generating and analyzing sales and compensation reports.

    Role and Responsibilities:

    · Design, implement, and manage sales compensation plans that align with the company’s strategic objectives.

    · Collaborate with sales and finance teams to ensure the compensation plans are competitive, equitable, and rewarding high performance.

    · Generate regular and ad hoc sales and compensation reports, providing insights and recommendations to management.

    · Monitor the effectiveness of sales compensation plans through detailed analysis and reporting and propose adjustments as necessary.

    · Manage the calculation, reporting, and payment of sales commissions, bonuses, incentives or other sales-based compensation.

    · Ensure sales compensation plans comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

    · Resolve any issues or disputes related to sales compensation.

    · Provide training and support to the sales team regarding compensation structures, performance targets, and understanding compensation reports.

    Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    · Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.

    · 5 years’ experience in a Sales Compensation, Finance, or Sales Operations role.

    · Previous supervisory experience preferred.

    · Previous experience working in the technology industry is preferred.

    · Strong understanding of sales compensation strategies and structures.

    · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    · Proficiency in compensation management systems and advanced data analysis tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL with demonstrated ability to extract key business insights.

    · Strong communication skills, with an ability to explain complex compensation plans in a clear and concise manner.

    · Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.

    · Ability to work 4 days per week in the office. This is not a remote position.

    The Perks:

    · The pay range for this opportunity is $80,000 - $110,000. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
