Compensation Manager leads the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, policies, and procedures. Manages common compensation functions, including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, incentive plan design, pay program administration and other associated initiatives. Being a Compensation Manager ensures that base pay, incentive pay and performance management programs remain competitive and conform to current compensation strategy. Directs data collection and analysis processes for market, pay equity, and other compensation studies. Additionally, Compensation Manager requires a bachelor's degree. May require a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Compensation Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Compensation Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     What You'll Do

    A Sales Compensation Analyst is responsible for analyzing sales performance data, designing and managing sales compensation plans, calculating commissions accurately, and administering incentive programs. They ensure that sales compensation strategies align with business objectives, drive sales productivity, and comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

    You will:

    • Design, implement, and manage sales compensation plans that align with business objectives and drive sales productivity.
    • Calculate commissions accurately and timely based on predefined commission structures, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Serve as the administrator for the commission software, maintaining system integrity, user access, and configuration settings.
    • Manage spiffs (special performance incentives for specific products or promotions) and other one-off incentives by developing eligibility criteria, calculating payouts, and tracking performance against targets.
    • Conduct regular audits of commission calculations and incentive programs to ensure accuracy and fairness.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, and Human Resources, to gather input and insights for compensation plan design, commission calculations, and incentive program management.
    • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track commission payouts, incentive program performance, and overall sales compensation effectiveness.
    • Perform scenario analysis and modeling to assess the potential impact of changes to commission structures and incentive programs.
    • Provide guidance and support to sales leadership and individual sales representatives on commission-related inquiries, incentive program eligibility, and payout calculations.
    • Partner with HRBP to provide pay for performance training to sales leaders and team.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in sales compensation and incentive management to continuously improve our compensation strategies and processes.

    What You Need to Get the Job Done (Minimum Qualifications)

    • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, such as Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau).
    • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable insights.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
    • Knowledge of sales performance metrics, incentive structures, commission calculations, and compensation best practices.

     What Will Make Us REALLY Love you (Preferred Qualifications)

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field.
    • 3-5 years of related experience in sales compensation analysis, design, administration, commission calculations, and incentive program management, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
    • Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CCP) is a plus.
    • Familiarity with sales commission systems, in particular CaptivateIQ, is preferred.
    • Familiarity with sales performance management systems (e.g. Salesforce) is preferred.
    • Familiarity with inbound sales commission plans and/or monthly incentive plans is a plus.
