Compensation Supervisor supervises a team working on compensation plans and programs and related analysis. Oversees common compensation projects, including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, incentive plan design, pay program administration and other associated initiatives. Being a Compensation Supervisor ensures that compensation plans and programs are consistent with organizational policies and all applicable federal and state laws. Maintains salary structures and company compensation policies. Additionally, Compensation Supervisor is responsible for survey participation and compensation analysis. Requires a bachelor's degree. May require a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification. Typically reports to a manager. The Compensation Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. To be a Compensation Supervisor typically requires 3-5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. The incumbent in this job will function as a subject matter resource to the organization's leaders in all facets of employee pay administration. Pay administration includes, but will not be limited to, the creation and maintenance of pay ranges, the assignment of jobs to pay ranges, reviewing job descriptions for assignment to pay ranges, the management of employee pay within pay ranges, establishing job rates, participating in salary surveys, monitoring of salary practices in the various labor markets, and administration and front-end troubleshooting of PeopleSoft's Manager Self-Service and ePerformance. The incumbent will also interact with regulatory and other agencies, such as The Joint Commission, who have oversight of the operation of the organization's facilities and employees.

Employees in this position will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a "non-frequent driver."
NOTE: A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or Shands automobile a) at least once daily, b) at least five individual trips per week or c) drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his/her job.
Minimum Pay Rate - Hourly: $36.42
Midpoint Pay Rate - Hourly: $49.52
