Pay: $65/k - $70/k
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am - 5pm
This role will be 100% on site during training then move to a hybrid work schedule consisting of 2 days in office per week.
Summary:
The HR Benefits & Compensation Specialist is responsible for providing HR support with assistance from the HR team for attorneys and staff across the firm.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Resolve HR inquiries with assistance as needed on benefits, compensation, performance evaluations, worker's compensation, open positions, and leaves.
Provide system assistance to attorneys and staff.
Prepare, send, and e-file various new hire and departure communications.
Perform bill reconciliation and prepare check requests for benefit vendors.
Update employee information, enrollments, terminations, and benefit changes.
Report Workers Compensation claims and maintain e-files.
Manage compliance processes that can include leave of absences, COBRA administration, and ADA accommodation requests.
Complete requests for employment verifications.
Manage staff annual performance review cycles using evaluation software
Education & Experience Requirements:
A 4-year degree in Human Resources or related education is preferred.
5 years of Human Resources experience.
5 years of experience in benefits, FMLA, compensation, and leaves; compliance experience a plus
Ability to safeguard confidentiality.
Knowledge of HR and experience with an HRIS, preferably UKG/Kronos.
Top Performance exposure a plus.
