Compensation and Benefits Director manages the design, implementation, administration, communication, and ongoing evaluation of the organization's compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures. Ensures that compensation and benefits programs support the organization's business objectives and meet all legal requirements. Being a Compensation and Benefits Director develops and manages compensation and benefits budgets. Oversees compensation processes, including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, base pay administration, incentive plan design and analysis. Additionally, Compensation and Benefits Director manages benefits planning and programs including health and welfare, retirement, and work life. May select and manage outsourced providers. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Compensation and Benefits Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Compensation and Benefits Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Our Montachusett Community Branch YMCA is looking for a Facilities Director to help us provide a beautiful and safe environment to our members, staff, and community.
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
The Facilities Director position directs the maintenance and custodial operations of the assigned Branch(es) and Camp - including preventative maintenance and vehicles. Under their responsibilities, the Facilities Director is an on call twenty-four hours, seven day a week position. The Director must be available for all contingencies or ensure appropriate emergency coverage of the facility at all times.

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 9am to 5pm Schedule can vary depending upon needs of facilities and grounds; 24/7 availability for emergencies
PAY: $47,000-$50,000/year Salary Exempt with full benefit package to include, generous PTO, access to YMCA facilities for the employee and immediate family members, Medical, Dental, Disability, Life, Vision, EAP, & Pet Insurance, and ability to participate 403B Retirement Savings Plan. Also, once fully vested, the YMCA will pay into a retirement account for you!
