Compensation and Benefits Manager manages the design, implementation, administration, communication, and ongoing evaluation of the organization's compensation and benefits programs, policies, and procedures. Ensures that compensation and benefits programs support the organization's business objectives and meet all legal requirements. Being a Compensation and Benefits Manager develops and manages compensation and benefits budgets. Oversees compensation processes, including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, base pay administration, incentive plan design and analysis. Additionally, Compensation and Benefits Manager manages benefits planning and programs including health and welfare, retirement, and work life. May select and manage outsourced providers. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Compensation and Benefits Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Compensation and Benefits Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     YOUR TASKS


    Job Objective


    Reporting to the HR Manager, this position will focus on all compensation & benefit related tasks for FORVIA HELLA USA. The Compensation & Benefit Lead is responsible for managing the compensation and benefit function for all staff, planning, developing, and implementing new and revised C&B programs, policies, procedures to align with the company’s goal and strategy.

    Duties and Responsibilities


    • Develop, implement, and administer all C&B programs for USA.
    • Ensure company C&B programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and local C&B laws and regulations.
    • Leading Payroll activities for US staff (system, process, data maintenance).
    • Provide advice on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.
    • Conduct compensation benchmark research, building job level matrix, pay bands and salary structure to ensure compensation objectives are achieved.
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition, People Partners, and managers to provide compensation consultation in making effective pay decisions.
    • Support the day-to-day administration of company sponsored benefits including Medical, Prescription, Dental, Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Disability, and Voluntary benefits.
    • Administers health and welfare plans as well as 401 (k) retirement plan. Processes required documentation to ensure accurate record keeping and proper deductions.

    • Lead and adapt to change.
    • Deal with ambiguity and create process and structure where it does not currently exist.
    • Manage projects independently while balancing daily required tasks.

    YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
    • University Degree (Business Administration, Human Resources, or another business-related field preferred).
    • 6 years of professional relevant HR experience, specifically in a compensation and benefits related role.
    • Demonstrated success administering and/or implementing a corporate compensation and benefits program.
    • Must be customer service focused and have excellent time management and project management skills.
    • Must be proactive and well organized, and have ability to prioritize work
