Ensures that compensation and benefits programs support the organization's business objectives and meet all legal requirements. Being a Compensation and Benefits Manager develops and manages compensation and benefits budgets. Oversees compensation processes, including survey participation, job evaluation, salary structure development, base pay administration, incentive plan design and analysis. Additionally, Compensation and Benefits Manager manages benefits planning and programs including health and welfare, retirement, and work life. May select and manage outsourced providers. As a Benefits Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and administering employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with employment labor laws, and providing exceptional support to our employees. Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits
- Coordinate open enrollment processes and communicate benefit options to employees
- Serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits
- Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations
- Collaborate with external vendors to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefit-related transactions
- Maintain accurate employee records related to benefits administration
- Assist with employee orientation sessions to educate new hires on available benefits
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding leave of absence policies, including FMLA and workers' compensation
- Stay up-to-date with employment labor laws and regulations related to benefits administration
- Collaborate with HR team members on various employee relations initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Proven experience in benefits administration or a similar HR role
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, etc.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Knowledge of employment labor laws and regulations pertaining to benefits administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
